  • Philadelphia Integrative Medicine 200 Eagle Road, Suite 204 Wayne, PA, 19087 United States (map)

Philadelphia Integrative Medicine presents
Functional Nutrition Classes
Led by Rachel Hershberger, MS, CNS, LDN

Back by popular demand! Methylation is a biochemical process that happens billions of times per second in our bodies. Methylation means the addition of a single carbon atom to another molecule. This small addition “tags” or activates the molecule. Sounds simple enough but the complexity in which it affects our body is astounding. Methylation plays a role in major body processes including detoxification, immune function, DNA building and repair, energy production, mood balance and inflammation. As you can see by this list, methylation impacts every cell and tissue in our body.

  • Learn how you can support your body to promote proper methylation
  • Find out which foods to include and which to avoid
  • Get recipes and meal suggestions that promote methylation and well-being

Please note: This class typically sells out quickly and is limited to 8 participants to give you individual attention. You must register in order to attend, sorry no walk-ins or unregistered guests.
