Who We Are

In 2009, Dr. Tetlow founded Philadelphia Integrative Medicine (PIM), a model site for integrative and functional medicine application and onsite clinician mentoring.

PIM’s vision is to empower, inspire change and create trust with patients, PIM providers and staff, the functional medicine community and ultimately, the medical community at large. PIM integrates the best of conventional and evidenced-based integrative medicine to provide the tools to be well.

Dr. Tetlow is on faculty at Sidney Kimmel Medical College, Thomas Jefferson University and is a regular Institute for Functional Medicine faculty presenter. She completed Fellowship training at the Andrew Weil Center for Integrative Medicine in 2010. She maintains a patient care practice as well as a mentoring practice for clinicians in transition or maintenance phases of integrative and functional medicine practice. Program Information

The 8 week intensive virtual mentoring program through Philadelphia Integrative Medicine (PIM) is a comprehensive curriculum.

  • Daily clinical case discussion and results interpretation

  • Live shadowing of telemedicine appointments

  • Small group appointment preparation

  • Discussion of patient care with Dr. Tetlow and the multi-provider PIM team

  • Real life application of academic resources

Virtual mentoring is offered in 8-week sessions with an adapted time-frame according to clinicians’ personal schedule. Each mentoring intensive is designed to fit your schedule and your needs, including one day a week of clinical mentorship, plus approximately 6 additional hours of self-scheduled time to be completed at home each week

Our program prepares you to practice medicine in a telemedicine format and can be applied to a 100% virtual, hybrid or in-person practice. We assist you to set up your own online supplement store, if you do not already have one. Pediatrics are not covered in the curriculum.

Prerequisites

  • Certification as an MD, DO, NP, PA (other specialty certification considered on a case-by-base basis)

  • Enrollment in or completion of integrative medicine fellowship OR at least one course offered by the Institute of Functional Medicine or equivalent functional medicine program.

A deposit of $1000 is required to reserve your spot in the program.

Convenient: 3 monthly installments of $4,997 are due 2 months prior to start date.
