Happy New Year from Philadelphia Integrative Medicine!

Happy New Year!  I want to thank you all for another great year filled with opportunities for healing -- healing encounters with patients, sharing healing through community talks, and delivering healing language to your inbox through this newsletter.  Through every interaction with you, I am able to grow as a physician and deepen my practice.  I look forward to more opportunities to heal in 2014.

This Week's Theme is "Resolutions"

Have you set your intention for 2014 yet?  My assistants and I wanted to share our resolutions with you:

  • Dr. Georgia Tetlow:  My new year's resolution is to have our first celebration/open house in February so everyone involved in Philadelphia Integrative Medicine can be inspired to renew our commitment to our health and well-being. Let's enjoy the empowered and healing community we are part of!
  • Ashley McElvaine, Executive Assistant:  My new year's resolution is to not focus on the past or things I cannot change but to look forward to all the great things in my present and to come in my future :)
  • Erin Murphy, Medical Assistant:  My resolution is to practice self-compassion physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually.

Upcoming Sessions to Help You Achieve Your Health Goals

Accomplish your health goals in partnership with other committed individuals by joining me at the following sessions: I will be holding two workshops at MoyoYoga in Schwenksville, PA as part of an Integrative Medicine Self Care series. Both will include led yoga, informational handouts and (inspirational!) discussion. The first will be on magnesium on January 25th from 2:00-4:00pm. The second will be on the benefits of Omega 3's and anti-inflammatory lifestyle from February 8th from 2:00-4:00pm. To register for either of these email Dr. Tetlow's office at info@philly-im.com.

Walk the Path Love Yourself Now Workshop: Pick up your prescription for joy at the Walk the Path, Love Yourself Now workshop on March 8th at Moyo Yoga. When we choose to do the things that bring us joy every day, we experience a vibrant energetic life that fully honors self. In this workshop you'll get a prescription for establishing a Mind, Body, and Spirit home practice and an exercise program that sticks. You will also learn how to remove fears that get in the way of joyful choices using The Path to Heal techniques. It is the infusion of joy into all of our daily practices that transforms our health and our bodies.  This workshop will be co-led by myself, Dr. Georgia Tetlow, and Rebecca Cohen. Part of the workshop will include a group Path to Prosperity session. When: March 8th, from 2:00-5:00 pm., Where: MoyoYoga, 4335 Skippack Pike, Schwenksville. Registration: please email info@philly-im.com.
