A Conversation About Stress with Lynda Sherland, CRNP, FNP-C, IFMCP

Stress is unavoidable.

We all will face some degree of stress in our lives, there's nothing we can do to stop it from coming. However there are things we can do to adapt our response to stress. We cannot control our innate responses -fight, flight, and freeze- but we can begin to train our bodies and neural pathways in order to give ourselves more of a choice when it comes to how we respond to the stress in our lives.

Listen here to a conversation with Lynda Sherland, CRNP, FNP-C, IFMCP, Advanced Practice Integrative Nurse Practitioner, to learn about the physiology of stress, why we respond the way we do, and what we can do to start to build resilience and have a choice in our response.
